About the Authors
Gary Preisser
The son of a coach and a teacher, Gary Preisser, has always
recognized the importance and impact of information,
education, and knowledge. Throughout his career in the
financial services industry, he has witnessed first-hand the
problems that result from a lack of understanding of the core
principles of wealth management. Gary uses his extensive
education and accounting background to help families better
understand their financial situation and empower them to
improve it. Gary is the president of Stonebriar Wealth
Advisors, an RIA with offices in Utah and Florida.
Shea Swenson
Shea is a Registered Financial Consultant and uses his wealth
preservation and tax planning experience to help his clients find tax and
risk efficient solutions for their families. A key speaker at both
financial and leadership workshops, Shea shares his knowledge on
topics like financial literacy, tax and estate planning, and stewardship.
He is currently serving on the boards of Silicon Slopes, Tee Box and
Black Desert Golf Resort.
Gary and Shea are the the co-founders of Stonebriar Financial, an
insurance agency, and, with Shea’s wife Katelyn, the Stonebriar Foundation, a non-profit
organization with the mission of increasing financial literacy for the current generation of
baby boomer retirees as well as future generations. This book was written with the
purpose of furthering this mission.
